(San Diego, CA) Sunday, October 18, 2009 John Glen DiGuiseppe, President/CEO of Investors Hospitality Management, the USA’s first sustainable third-party revenue management and ownership services company, announced at BITAC™ Purchasing and Design West 2009’s San Diego conference today the opening of its New York City office at 1385 York Ave, Suite 3A, New York, NY 10021.
DiGuiseppe states: “Particularly for our international and national clients like Hyatt, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn, Wyndham, Best Western, Choice Hotels as well as our independent owners, IHM’s bicoastal presence now offers two convenient national gateways (Los Angeles and New York) bridged by our American Southwest office in the Phoenix metroplex. As industry innovator of 2009, IHM’s legacy in sustainable design, environmental sensitivity in FFE procurement, selection and vendor relationship dialogue blends with its strategic revenue management offerings.”
Throughout 2009, IHM has managed thirty-four hotels throughout the USA from Oklahoma City to Los Angeles; developed relationships with financial institutions repositioning their distressed property inventory; cultivated property-specific, budget-targeted, design-oriented and environmentally-sound relationships with suppliers; and expanded IHM’s portfolio to include Receivership Services.
In the current challenging economy, IHM has focused its marketing and fiduciary services to reposition underperforming and receivership hotels as a strategic practice. Demonstrated client success has been enjoyed through IHM’s network of partners like TerraPass and Expedia, with turnaround REVPAR and ADR profitability within 30 days of operational management, e-marketing and sustainable initiatives to lessen the carbon footprint with other sustainable, cost-effective practices. Packages promoting destination services for client properties have afforded guests convenient hotel-site bookings for such popular venues as Disney and Universal Studios along with providing additional revenue generation opportunities for the hotels. Community support with representative chambers of commerce and provision for special rates to military services and their families have also generated good will along with IHM’s philanthropic efforts toward the support of nonprofit organizations.
Industry notes include IHM’s superb networking capabilities. Since November of 2006, IHM inaugurated a nationally recognized Board of Advisors for its hallmark “stewardship with sustainability” and accompanying Journal online.
DiGuiseppe, a frequent invitee to hospitality trade conferences, will be available for dialogue and discussion throughout the BITAC™ San Diego event. Call 818-429-2188 or e-mail johnd@investorshm.com to schedule an appointment, address an inquiry or business lead.
